This is the first time we have played meaningful games in October since what...2011? Let's enjoy it!

Will be very tough. Tulsa was 1-5 when we played them. Cincy is not a bad team and will be a good test.

Depends on which Cincy team shows up.......their D has been MIA a lot this year.  If you believe we can put up 35+ points on them then we have a chance.

Cincy is probably the second most difficult team left on our schedule (behind Memphis).  

 

We need 3 wins from Cincy, Houston, SMU, Memphis, and UCF.

 

SMU is a win, so we need 2 wins from Cincy, Houston, Memphis, and UCF.

 

Sure it's a lot easier to get to 6-6 with a win at Cincy, but I think we still get to 6-6 with a loss.  If we win, I think 7-5 is on the table.  If we actually put 2 halves together each game going forward we could hit 8-4.  

 

That said, I'm still thinking we finish 6-6

That's very optomistic, in my opinion. Until I see us play a full game, instead of just one half. I'm thinking we go 5-7.

The comeback at Tulsa was great, but I still don't think we're ready to pencil in ANY game as a win (SMU) until we see if we can get the same kind of execution that we got in the 2nd half against Tusla.

 

If we win at Cinci tomorrow night, I will be very optimistic too.  Hoping the 2nd half at Tulsa was the beginning of what we are about to see and not just a fluke.
