The same applies to the UF and FSUs of the world. We always get one or two every few years. Because the number of players on scholarship stays the same I suspect we will still be okay. The gap in competitive balance amongst FBS team will become even greater and will give college football more of a minor league football appeal, which will ultimately be its downfall. If given the choice to watch paid football players many will chose the NFL while college football will slip to second tier status. College football is turning its back on one if its biggest differentiators that makes it unique to the NFL. Its that uniqueness that appeals to many college football fans. You mean it will change like it did when coaches started to make millions? This is basic capitalism, which was brought into college sports years ago.
