We are limited do to only having one capable receiver.  Rodney did well while Andre is out but now it seems he doesn't really get a lot of touches.  Ryshene Bronson has two catches and now we don't really see him. I think I saw him couple times but no catches. Maybe someone else could shed light on what happened.

I'm going to take a wild guess and assume a few things.

1. White does not trust his other receivers and frankly he shouldn't. No one else has shown the ability to catch the ball consistently except for Davis. Adams will get there, but he was directly responsible for a pick six against UConn I think it was.

2. We don't run multiple wide receiver sets very often. We run more often than pass and when we do pass we usually have what two wide receivers and two te?

3. Going along with point number one....I imagine that since Davis is our best receiver, he is the number one target on most routes. White likes to stare down receivers a bit too much so the other guys probably don't get many looks

We had 8 receivers combine for 17 catches.

Davis - 6

Adams - 3

Price - 2

mack - 2

Bronson - 1

McFarland- 1

Tice-1

Johnson-1

He's not going to one guy only.

Ok, number 32 had the catch of the game that kept our drive going.   Cincy is going to double team Price, so the other receivers better be ready to take the load and catch the ball.

I'm ok with Price getting double-teamed, if that leaves Andre in single coverage.  Or did you mean Cincy will double team/bring safety help over for AD?

If Cincy double teams anyone, it will be Davis. That should free up Adams and the TE's and the RB option all day.

PS: "Number 32" is D'ernest Johnson, one of our biggest pick ups of the 2014 class. We will be seeing him a lot more the next few years.

Sorry guys, I meant Davis.  Not sure how I typed Price.   Strange.   I agree, but looking at their defense to win this game we have to keep their offense off the field by controlling the clock and running them down.

Johnson is going to be a big star and play on Sunday in the future.

I thought you meant Davis but wasn't completely sure.  Hopefully like Hem said, them doubling up on Davis will lead to some routes being wide open.  And agree, we have to control the clock and all that, but we also need to score touchdowns REGULARLY.

Hopefully we can get past them on Friday night.

I don't get why Bronson isn't playing more. He caught that long td vs NC State and I have barely seen him on the field since.
