Mike White - very accurate, but telegraphs his passes

If White could look off a receiver, he would be so much better.  I really like how accurate he has been though.

If he could pump fake it would be great too.

Hes still young and learning. Those things will come.

I wouldnt mind seeing some pre snap audibles. I mean why shift to see what kind of defensive alignment ur facing and then not adjust ur own play against it? Unless white and the offense isnt allowed to

The go ahead TD against Tulsa he pump faked the short pass before hitting Andre long.

Like the OP, I noticed he zones in on his primary receiver and very often will not even look off of him but like you I also noticed that he gave a nice Brady'ish shoulder shrug/fake on the late Davis TD.  Hopefully we'll seem him pump fake and make his progressions a little better but I'm starting to like what I see from the kid.....remember he is just 19.

Thought about this thread last night watching Roethlisberger pump-fake then go to the endzone (called back cause he was out of bounds) but a beautiful fake-throw-catch.  What could be, what could be...

The zoning in on the primary receiver was very noticeable throughout the Tulsa game.  The Tulsa guy who made the pick 6 made an easy play.  But then the pump fake for the go ahead touchdown in the 2nd half was pretty cool.  I'm thinking(hoping) that Mike is learning and improving. Hopefully he will learn from his mistakes in order to not make the same mistakes again.  Also hoping he is learning from the techniques that work, and he will keep using them.  Looking forward to seeing more in the Cinci game.

Saw him roll out and make a crucial 1st down pass to Rodney Adams in the 4th Quarter I believe. He has been TERRIBLE at rolling out, this was a good thing to see.

That pick 6 was not zoning in on the receiver. It was a take the hike and throw it. There was no read on that play.
