Check the date of the article because Phillip Ely was interested but transfered to Toledo instead.

I agree with making sure about the date, but Ely transfered more than a year ago, so I don't know why that would pop up on a pay site right now (unless OP was digging through graves). One can hope this is a recruit with potential and not a walk-on, 3rd string, etc, if this turns out to be true.
