I stated this last year, but it seems to me like the DT position is a desperate need with this team and with so many of them being upper classmen I worry that we are not properly restocking the ranks. We did not recruit the position very much last year and I do not see a current commit at the DT position this year. At this rate, we may have to continue to play the 3-4 out of necessity with one true nose tackle and two DE types. Does anybody have any insight as to this?

Calloway is a true sophomore, Senat and Hector are RS Freshmen. There's some thought Bronson, true freshman, can bulk up to play inside and if Mayes gets to USF he'll be good inside as well. Probably take a 3 DL this year.

If Bresnehan stays I think he'd prefer to stay 3-4.

Could be that we're recruiting to the 3-4 and that's why they're going light on DT's, with a few young guys already on the roster there.
