Earlier in the day gives our guys the best shot. hopefully we go with a light combo and force them to wear black. I want every little advantage we can get. Let the sun beat em up if we can't. 

You should take the time to peruse the NCAA football uniform rules.

 

 

I have better things to do with my day, however last time it was brought up I remember reading that the home team had the ability to go with the away colors and have the visiting team wear their colors. I cannot remember the special clause to enable that. Feel free to link it though. Regardless of color combo heat helps us. 

 

 

Unless it changed this year, the visiting team wears white unless it's agreed upon, in writing before the season, that the home team would.

It's one thing to watch.

Quite another to pay attention...but more than likely, just something that doesn't get a whole lot of thought.

 

 

 

Jersey Color and Design

ARTICLE 5. a. Players of opposing teams shall wear jerseys of contrasting colors. Players on the same team shall wear jerseys of the same color and

design.

1. The visiting team shall wear white jerseys; however, the home team may wear white jerseys if the teams have agreed in writing before the season.

2. If the home team wears colored jerseys, the visiting team may also wear colored jerseys, if and only if the following conditions have been

satisfied:

a. The home team has agreed in writing prior to the game; and

b. The conference of the home team certifies that the jersey of the

visiting team is of a contrasting color.

3. If on the kickoff at the start of each half, the visiting team wears a

colored jersey in violation of the conditions specified in paragraph 2

(above), it is a foul for unsportsmanlike conduct.
