The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The Good - Defense was tough in the first half, Kicking game was good.

 

The Bad - Defense did not adjust in second half and couldn't get off the field, inconsistent blocking

 

The Ugly - Dropped passes, very costly penalties

 

In Sum this team looks a bit like the 2004 team, lots of talent but not ready for prime time. Can stick with anyone for a half but not enough to play the entire game. If the team continues to show the improvement they have so far this year a bowl game is possible.

I was impressed. D didn't stand a chance having to stay on the field that long. Even the TOP, make those catches...This game maybe goes the other way.

Was thinking the same thing on TOP, changes the game when you give the D a longer breather and even more incentive when you add some points.

D has to take some of the blame here, they didn't make the stops when they had the chance,mostly because of penalties. Wisky scored on all second half possessions except the last.

Ugly: That Welch drop.

Good:  Run defense was good at start then got sloppy some in the second half but that is best running team we will face this year.

Playcalling was good also…just not executed well at times.  Offensive line for the most part did well in giving White time to pass.

 

Bad: Receivers to many drops but slowly getting better. Getting Welch off the Andre plugged into the offense will be huge.

 

Ugly: Fumbles can't beat Wisconsin fumbling the ball and making stupid penalties.  Though that late hit was total ticky tack and that I believe

kept the punt team off the field.  

 

Team is slowly getting better and if we play WCU now I think we really put a beat down on them.

Team is improving and if the team buys in fully to CWT, something special is about to happen. The conference play will be most important the rest of this year. We need to dominate some of these conf. opponents, not just barely get by.
