We are 2-2

Sept 27 Wisconsin

Oct 11 ECU *

Oct 18 Tulsa

Oct 24 Cincy

Nov 1 Houston*

Nov 15 SMU

Nov 22 Memphis

Nov 28 UCF *

  *=home games

Where can we get these 4 wins?

At least we get 2 of the top 3 conference teams at home.

No way IMO we win the next two games.  Tulsa is winnable.  Cincy is a highly doubtful game to win.  Houston seems turnover prone, so we have a shot there.  SMU we better friggin win.  Memphis could be another UCONN ish game.  And UCF you never know.

So in summary

NO WAY:  Wisky, ECU, Cincy

Maybe:  Tulsa, Houston

Maybe Not:  UCF, Memphis

YES WAY:  SMU

Is it possible?  Yes.  Is it probable?  EHH.

Now that I think about it, if we are 5-6 heading into that UCF game, I think our guys will find a way to muster up their best performance of the season and win that game.

Makes that Memphis game a big game as well.

I think Memphis is much better than UConn at this point. Plus it is on the road. I think if we take care of Tulsa and SMU, and win 2 of 3 from Memphis, Houston and UCF. We could potentially have another game like Cincy last year that we had no business winning but somehow pull it out. Realistically 5-6 looking going into UCF would be great.

We can absolutely beat Houston, if we keep the penalties down

Losses to Tulsa and SMU would be embarrasing

and Cincy and UCF are out to kill us. The latter being a MUST-WIN

Does 6 wins guarantee that we make a bowl? Does that AAC have enough guaranteed spots?

How to we get to a bowl game?  Stubhub?

Kidding.

I think we have a good chance v SMU and Tulsa, and could take Houston.  Memphis & UCF will be tougher, I think.  CIncy is a long shot, and ECU & WIscy are almost impossible.

So, I think we'll win 4-5, but if we get much better & get some breaks, 6 is possible.
