Not sure if anyone has or knows much about STA and their past teams. This year's team is not up to the caliber of teams that have been coached by Coach Smith when he was there. Yes, they do play a tough schedule but I wouldn't rule this kid out just based on the little we know or see from him. He doesn't have close to the weapons on offense that O'Korn, Carroll, Dougherty, Becker, and Rudock had. Not to mention their defenses played lights out and punished teams. Trust me as I watch it year after year coming from Manatee HS and following HS football for many years now.

 

I say throw him an offer and see what happens. His offers will pour in and I would hate to see him travel to Orlando.

He looks decent watching that video, but he definitely has some mechanical flaws. I would think that he could walk on or be a back up offer if we do not land another QB prospect.
