....because he got popped for DUI and having licenses that weren't his.

Redshirted though...still a freshman...you know you're thinking it....

Olsen doesn't have the maturity or intelligence to be a starting QB. If he was, don't you think he would have been able to beat out Kaaya and Heaps since he had one more year in Golden's system?

That guy is going to wash out and be flipping burgers somewhere.

That guy is going to wash out and be flipping burgers somewhere and still be infinitely better than any QB on our roster.

He did beat them out, but got injured and then in trouble.

I will say...my UM co-workers are glad to see him go, given the issues. And, he's Greg Olsen's little brother (NFL TE). Kid's blowing it.

Too much baggage for me. We need the help but this kid sounds like he would bring to much baggage with him

Remember these are kids, change in environment and mentor could make a world of difference. If he can help here bring him here.

We have two different coaches in the athletic department with DUIs and a player on the team with a domestic violence conviction, can we really get on our high horse here? If, and I don't have even the slightest idea, he's interested, we bring him on.

It's more than just the DUI, he was already suspended by the team.  It was an underage DUI, and he presented a license that wasn't his.  If this were the only thing and he were 21, and barely blew the limit, I could say it was just a mistake (Let's be clear, I don't condone drinking and driving at all), but he has already shown poor judgement more than once.
