I know we started the year with something like 19 Freshmen on the field, after the game this weekend how much of the incoming classes have seen the field? Still struggling with ways to stomach how we are playing at this point but if they are all fresh meat at least there is hope down the road.

8 true freshmen

6 redshirt freshmen

Has Jimmy Bayes touched the field? He's arguably our best recruit out of our class last year and I'm pretty sure he hasn't even played a down (I could be wrong). I actually agree with Smazza above, Play Them. If they aren't ready, put them into situations where it isn't high leverage. If it's a defensive end play them on 3rd and forevers, or CBs when we're down by 32 in the 4th quarter, etc.

Only thing that I don't like about Bird is that he doesn't wrap up.

But dude comes in fast and hard.
