I am no Taggart apologist; I am starting to question hiring a coach from the Sun Belt. If our neighbors to the east can get a drunken old Irishman who was almost the head coach of the Irish, then USF can afford to hire a coach from a conference greater than the Sun Belt or C-USA. Leavitt came from the B-12, so we should do the same for the next coach if Taggart does not pan out.

Losing has become par for the course now and if we were to pick the top five game of cjw 15 game career with us 40% of those would be losses; if we didn't try to get down just to his best 80% of his games end in an "l". For fans that previously expected wins at home this just isn't acceptable.

We need to find someone tainted to get that. Maybe a wife beater, drunk, or sex offender.... I felt CWT was moving in the right direction. I do not know what his hard on is for White, or why he did not play Bench this game. I hope the pathetic half speed play was some anomaly. CWT did tick me off last week when he said he told the guys "its not about winning, it is about having fun". Sorry coach, if it was about fun we would have built a waterslide instead of a practice facility.

Where he failed was surrounding himself with poor assistant coaches and coordinators, especially on the offensive side.

Army's opponent prior to USF in 2004 was Cincinnati, which Army beat to end their 19 game losing streak (Army was 5-49 in their previous 54 games prior to UC and USF in 04. After beating USF in '04, Army lost their next 11 games).

"FSU" and "Auburn", just to name two. I also have to agree with Bausfbulls 11. Leavitt's team never quit.
