we cant expect to compete against p5 teams

 

i to got caught up in yesterday's game but  during a calm moment i realized we are in a different tier than p5 teams

 

the talent discrepancy gap will grow in the ensuing years.  we probably should play this teams on the road for a big payday

it takes all my time to worry about usf   I don't have time to analyze another non p5 team like ecu   usf will be more competitive against fellow aac stiffs   we should beat uconn

only difference in that game was they landed Brissett and we didn't . they weren't even listed in his original list of options while we were.

 

70% completion rate with a 168 rating would look good right about now.

Total garbage statement.

 

The potential of a program is the combination of its recruiting and coach selection capability. Our recruiting capability is better than 33% of the P5 schools, combine that with an above average coach and you have a top 25 program that will build off of its success, regardless of conference.

 

The frustrating thing here is knowing that potential exists.

I would believe that would be the case five years from now when the haves and have nots gap gets wider. However, this P5 nonsense just took effect this season. Georgia Southern and Old Dominion had NC ST on the ropes this season. You are going to tell me that USF cant give NC ST a game like Ga Southern and Old Dominion?

There is no excuse. The defense showed up against Maryland who almost beat WVU yesterday. Now both the defense and offense are lost. Terrible!

you are ignoring reality

 

usf is in the lower tier

nc state is not

 

we have potential to compete on our level..

 

it is not realistic to think we can compete  with p5 schools

 

is nc state one of those schools you think we should be able to compete against??

Wasn't the reality that we competed with Maryland just last week?? I do not think that word means what you think it means.
