Tallahassee (Fla.) Godby High School class of 2015 linebacker Jim Jones has received five scholarship offers so far this fall. The 6-foot-2 and 225-pound senior has also started to hear from another program out of the SEC.

We need some serious linebacker help at the moment. Our pass rush is weak, our run-support is lame, and our tackling is non-existant.

 

Jones could probably start as a freshman.

But we're pretty good at slapping at the ball and making tackles after 8 yds., if we can hang on to the rb long enough...

We need help at LB and true freshmen are starting. Auggie is starting at LB as a true freshman...Josh Black, a true freshman LB, came in and made a sack last week. Taggart will play true freshmen if they can spark the team.

If he's as good as you think (and his HS play transitions to college level), he can play EARLY.  Nigel Harris is our best LB, and he played as a true freshman, and will be a junior next year.  As noted above, we need help at LB, and this is a position that USF has created a pipeline to the NFL.
