My understanding is that tulsa kew this player had a record of prior sexual events attached to his name and still brought him there where he supposingly raped a girl. Now she is suing under the title 9 provision that says a university must protect all students from known sexual offenders. It's just a crazy situation

So it has nothing to do with the part of Title IX that says mens and womens sports must be treated essentially equally.

Title IX covers all sorts of crazy gender issues not related to sports.  I believe this particular provision is the same one the state is using to investigate the Winston investigation, or lack thereof.
