I can both stand by that statement and be excited about this pickup. They're not mutually exclusive. True. Not sure what caused the flip, I need to be brought up to speed on what "flip" means in this realm. I thought it meant that you get a player that is still committed to another school to switch to yours .... Is it more broad than that?

Its why McGee wasn't a flip.

What some don't seem to understand is that rarely does a commit "decommit" unless he has charted another course. Just because the clueless many, don't know that or understand the process, doesn't mean the player isn't, flipping". In the case of McGee, it was absolutely what happened. Despite the unwashed masses not knowing that it had. Edited August 14, 2014 by Reliable Source

Define a flip in Bullwinkleese. Tell you what. I'll be happy to do so immediately after, you contribute to the board, one piece of original information. Just one, it shouldn't be that hard. Oh, and mods, please take this mindless blather somewhere else, or delete it. Even if you are involved in the stupid discussion. It has no place on this kids thread. If you are dedicated to discussing it, give it, it's own thread. Edited August 14, 2014 by Reliable Source

For the record, mine is a kid who verbally commits to one school only to later "flip" to another. The key being that he has to have committed.
