I gotta tell you, I try to minimize my football viewing during pre-season, as I'm an addict and need to push away when I can (lest I wear out my wife). But, when season's here, I'm all in. it is some of the worst football on the face of the planet .... or maybe it's just the Bucs and Jags .... haven't watched whole game yet but did see Ryne on the sidelines pre game and he looked a helluvalot bigger than I remember him here. I haven't watched preseason games in years, but I've caught snippets of 3-4 this season already. What really annoys me is the blatant homerism of the announcers. The networks are clearly just picking up the local feeds, not even bothering to send an impartial announcer team. Ugh.

But otherwise, yes, these are local productions.

That guy has a ton of heart & will be missed...hope he sticks in the NFL.

I'm a Bucs fan, but you better believe I'm rooting for him to put Glennon and Kafka on the ground a few times.

Missed an XP, made one. Didn't see it, just the stat line. Sam Barrington was out there for the Pack tonight as well. Again, saw he got a tackle and an ast, not sure how well he played (or how long). Most plays they ran away from his end. On one play he tried to run down Stephen Morris, but he just missed a sack when he flushed Morris who ran around toward the sidelines as Giddins dove and missed. The announcers noted he's probably the fastest qb on the Jags roster. Two plays later he had a nice tackle for either no gain or a loss. Looked hungry, pumped, fast, strong.
