The "greatest achievements in their sports history", like their Papa John's.com bowl victories. Whatever.

Can't believe he only got suspended 2 games for that.

Now Ohio St. no longer plays Wisconsin, for example.

Now Ohio St. no longer plays Wisconsin, for example. great point before expansion did osu always play wisconsin every year? Yes, its been a rivalry for years. In 2012 when Ohio St hosted the game they wore their special rivalry uniforms. http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/84927/badgers-buckeyes-rivalry-reaches-its-peak “I was here a long time ago, and it was not a rivalry,†said Ohio State coach Urban Meyer, who was a Buckeyes assistant from 1986-87. “You have to give credit to Wisconsin. I think it all started with coach [barry] Alvarez, and then the following coaches have done a great job. They are one of, if not the best, programs in the Big Ten right now, and because of that, it’s become a very good rivalry.†Edited August 5, 2014 by slick1ru2

I don't get the big deal about being ranked during season, its IMO only a notch above a preseason poll. End of season rankings, after all the games are played, seems to be what everyone goes by.http://www.nj.com/rutgersfootball/index.ssf/2014/07/rutgers_day_on_the_big_ten_network_scheduled_for_aug_1.html
