Noticed that Pierre wasn't on the depth chart that was just posted, and thought it was strange because he had a good spring game.

 

I checked the roster that Joey Knight posted today and didn't see it on him, so I asked Knight on twitter what happened. He responded with:

 

@VroomyUSF Medically unable to play this season

 

Have there been any details on this? I followed up with Knight but he hasn't responded yet.

Ouch!

 

Hope they honor his schollie and he gets his education and makes a succesful life off the field. Whether it's head office, or coaching, or in the booth, or even away from sports.

Was going to say that RB is the deepest and we'll be ok, but then saw this ... very sad for him, hate to hear this kind of thing.  Hopefully he can graduate on his scholarship, enter the workforce and make a decent living.

Which goes back to what I said about the last transfer out, Willie Davis, you always wish you had another RB late in the season as they get injured. Starting even sooner than I expected. Wonder if cwt can run a power run offense without RBs.
