6th is pretty fair Id say based on returning players(starters) and who we brought in this year. Also another year in the system helps as well( as far as playbook goes)

Im surprised ECU is 4th.  I think people are sleeping on them.  They are a 10 win team from last year returning a ton of  players.

Was that a typo? did you mean to say are not? Or are you saying our athletics has brighter fiscal days in its future?

We should be in the top half. I would still be disappointed with 6th place.

Yeah, he probably missed a "not" in there...I got drawn in that exact way in the Mad Cow the other day. Just better not to take his posts seriously ever.

it is shocking we are still so bad

I expect big improvement but qb needs to improve dramatically

I know it's pointless to respond, but only a true screwball would look at the last three years and still, AT THIS MOMENT, be shocked that we were that bad.

Well, he is our resident screwball. He likes screwing with everyone. :FIREdevil:

Deep down inside he loves USF, or so I am told.

The only thing I know that is deep with smazza is his pockets, and USF hasn't exactly benefitted from that fact.

Just curious, how do you know he has deep pockets?

I get it; none will be named Mazza, Steven Lance.

Depending on which part of the internet you hang out on, 6th is too low, just right, or too high for some fans...

I think to be honest, the AAC is an unknown this year...again. You have 3 more C-USA teams coming in; one had a nice season, one had an okay season (but "nice" in their terms), and one had a subpar season (and they are usually better than that). The league looks like it has a top 3-4 teams in Cincy, Houston, ECU, and UCF, and then right now it looks like a jumbled mess between teams that showed sparks last year (Temple, Memphis, SMU, Tulane), and possible dumpster fires (USF, UCONN, Tulsa), and some of them will improve and some will fall this year.

At this point, I think the team should have a chip on its shoulder, not for any poll or dis that they receive from the media, but from themselves as they have to prove to themselves and the world that last year was truly a rock bottom rebuild.
