I'd like to see the USF fight song updated, revamped, modernized, something. It's never really grown on me.

I think we can keep it, but another fight song type thing wouldn't be bad...something more along the lines of "kick their @SS" and "gore the **** out of them Bulls!" instead of pleasantries about holding our standards upright and free...which just seems dirty.

I think our fight song is great. When playing some NCAA and hearing other's fight song, I think we rank amongst the best. Maybe I'm just biased.

Exactly ... People talk about lack of tradition and the fight song is one thing that has endured as a tradition for about as long as I can remember.

Corny, that's it! I don't think ours are in top either but that's my unbiased opinion. Btw, who wrote it, and when?

Anyway, to me, some sound corny but others sound majestic or like out of a classy 50s musical. I like the Miami, Oh fight song, suks to admit it but I think UCF has a good one, ECU sounds like a classic football song. Arizona Wildcats have another classic sounding song. Some sound like circus music.

Here's a website of fight songs for comparison. And you'll notice old and new versions of fight songs along with variants and multiple songs. So I'd say, don't get rid of it just spruce it up or have someone write a variation.

I always thought our fight song sounded like the theme song from Coach….not that there is anything

wrong with that.
