Just one year. But it was enough of a year to make this list. Sometimes, a player’s influence can last long after he leaves the program. Jason Pierre-Paul came to USF as a junior from Fort Scott Community College. He left the Bulls just 13 games later as the 15th overall pick in the NFL draft by the New York Giants. In between, he terrorized quarterbacks and amazed Bulls fans, showing both some things they’d never seen before. His combination of speed, power and athleticism were off the charts. He had 45 tackles in his USF season, and remarkably more than a third (16.5) were tackles for loss. He had 6.5 sacks, seven quarterback hits, two forced fumbles, and three pass break-ups. He scored his lone USF touchdown on Oct. 3, 2009, when he intercepted a pass and returned it for a score in the Carrier Dome against Syracuse. You simply couldn’t take your eyes off of him. On every down, you knew the Bulls defense had the chance to make a game-changing play. Pierre-Paul was larger than life in some respects. Listed officially at 260 pounds, he did things that made offensive lineman look helpless. And, he did things that built his reputation, as well as that of the program. There's a contingent on here that doesn't really consider him a Bull. He was a great player and fun to watch during his time here.

They had no idea what hit them. I think Paulus, the former Duke BB guard, was the QB for them then.

I remember selvie and co picking on him cuz he looked like a ballerina heading into the endzone on that play. Pretty funny

They did make game-changing plays, only difference is they allowed the other team to win.
