Then they go to the school and sit on the bench with all the other 4-5 star athletes and do not play. I guess the name of the school is what matters not the chance of playing time. Drew Weatherford was the same way. Always wanted to go to FSU so when they offered it was a lock. What he did not consider was the system or the fact that they had no Oline to protect a pocket QB. You changed your argument halfway through your post. In Weatherford's case, he ended up making the right decision for playing time - he was a pretty longtime starter at FSU, which is great for him, he achieved what he wanted. The system and O-line talent/skill is a whole 'nother argument. My comment was not only about playing time. It was about how they get excited about where the offer came from and ignore all other factors. While playing time is one factory the system they are entering is just as important. Also, they need to consider if the school is going to have the tools to develop and showcase their talents. Drew did good things at FSU while the offensive system and Oline was in shambles. What could he have done at a school that had a more stable offensive coaching staff and a better Oline? He did have other offers...

Great to have him aboard! Here's Joey Knight again speaking on kids potential: @TBTimes_Bulls: I hear @bkeanqb4, who has committed to #USF, is brimming with promise. Some QB coaches have told me that. Again, just a 'commitment.'

Newberg has got a video of him throwing for Taggart on you tube. Definitely solid and they'll have to work to keep him. I'm in! Maybe it's this guy. 43 TDs in one year is impressive, almost anywhere.

Not rated by ESPN https://usf.rivals.com/ Should this temper my enthusiasm? But, Scout has him as 3 star. Stars will catch up.
