Count #USF among those making another push for East Bay 4-star DE Marques Ford after #Vols reportedly pull his offer.

Former Tennessee commitment Marques Ford is "definitely a little bit angry," according to his high school coach,

My guess is he jumps on any legit SEC offers he has still out there ...

Maybe so, but he's already been burned once. The other SEC schools will do the same thing to him if they get a flood of last minute commits, so we can only hope he's learned his lesson already.

This late in the process, and considering what just happened to him, I'd hope if an SEC team accepts his commitment now it would be a lock ..... Have to assume that at least one SEC program has a conscience .... but would love to get him here, though.

We can promise him he won't be toyed with, and instead of being just "another commit" in a big class, he can be THE commit in this one.

After being pushed aside, it would feel nice to be the most important get of the class, rather than just another number.

USF can offer that, being close to family so they can watch you play, and immediate playing time.

Good sell. Here's hoping.

Can't wait to go back to 4 down lineman.  This guy could give us a speed edge rusher which we really need moving forward.
