He’s also hearing from Florida St., Duke, USC, Indiana, Arkansas, Mississippi St., and Nebraska. [youtube id=Vv6b8HWy9E8" width="620" height="360] He talked about the offer from Akron. “I really don’t know much about them, but the coaches like my athleticism, elusiveness, and how I play both sides of the ball,†he said. “I’m planning on taking an unofficial visit during the season.†The other three offers are from in-state programs and Sands spoke about each. “FIU has been recruiting me since the 9th grade and they’re showing me a lot of attention. “FAU has a good program, are building and getting better. I like their coaching staff. “I’ve been talking to USF and coach Telly Lockette ever since the camp in Miramar. They offered after the camp and I’ll be visiting USF during the season,†he shared. “I like USF a lot and I really like Coach Lockette.†Sands reported to Varsity Preps that the Seminoles have been in constant contact with him. “Coach Tim Brewster and Coach Sal Sunseri have been talking to me, they both want me as a corner.†The Razorbacks have also shown strong interest in Southwest Miami’s talented athlete. “Coach Randy Shannon came down here for the spring game,†he said. “I really like how he runs his defense.†Sands stated he remains wide open and is awaiting more offers, but already has a pair of Florida programs in the lead. “I like USF and FSU right now.â€\ http://www.varsitypreps.com/2015-watch-list-ath-trevon-sands-southwest-miami/

If his hand are good they could use him as a Harvin type player the way Ray Ray would have been used.

It's his jr. tape, and the foes don't look scary, but the video above shows 4-5 catches, a few of them fairly difficult. One of the weirdest/coolest catches is the screen pass behind 5 linemen...who he followed, and they only had to block 2 defenders as he ran untouched for the TD. I just watch Jordan Reeds tape also, also very fast w/ some run after the catch ability. Reed will be great to watch as a returner also. Will be fun to watch these guys over the years.
