Since I think QB will be a big need for the 2015 class, here's a list from Rivals of those that have at least a medium interest:

QB Brad Mayes Tampa, FloridaBerkeley Prep 6'1" 197 N/A 3 stars

QB Dwayne Lawson Tampa, FloridaHillsborough 6'6" 215 N/A 3 stars

QB Jonnas Spivey Bay Springs, MississippiBay Springs 6'2" 185 4.6 3 stars

QB Deondre Francois Orlando, FloridaOlympia 6'0" 182 N/A

QB Ryan Stanley Pembroke Pines, FloridaFlanagan 6'2" 190 N/A

QB James Pensyl Land O'Lakes, FloridaLand O' Lakes 6'6" 210 N/A

Maybe we can start a thread on one of these now and blow out the AW thread.

I don't know why he didn't pop up when I did the recruit search.

Lawson and Mayes should be the top 2 QBs in the area. I expect USF to go very hard after both of them, but they are SEC level recruits. We'll see if we can get actual interest.

First step is getting them on campus this summer.

How many times do we need to go through this?

Go look at our list of signed LOI's. How many of them had SEC offers?

15 out of 28, that's just SEC. I didn't count offers from big time B12, Pac12, ACC, and B1G programs because that would be pretty much everyone then.

We will snag a great QB in 2015. Hopefully 2.

To Vroomy's credit, skill position players are much different in comparison to top blue chip QB's. There are much less of those QB's to choose from and fight for compared to the abundant of skill position players. And with our past recruitment of QB's, you can't help but feel a little skeptical. I'll believe it when I see it (top caliber QB).

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
