Huge 4* got reaffirmed offer from CWT today. 2014 recruit.

 

SPC LT Reilly Gibbons (6-6, 275) was offered by USF when Skip Holtz was there. Dad says Willie Taggart reaffirmed that offer today. #USF

He's class of 2014 but doesn't hurt to get an early start...ESPN lists him at 274 lbs and runs a 4.64 forty. Is that even possible??

I read on the link Bill posted that the 40 time was more like 4.9 ...

Kids athletic. I was friends with him when he played JV BBall at Seminole when I was there, and he's a pretty good guy. Originally a tight end, and I'm shocked he's at 270 considering his size 3 years ago.

We are still on his short list along with FSU, UF and UM. Supposedly announcing at 3:30.

No hat game on the table per his mother. Only 1, the 3 hats is "getting old".

 

Kid has an IMPRESSIVE offer list. Would be seriously suprised if he went with us.

Chose Miami, what is it with these kids and this school? Seems to be one of the "cool" places to go all of the sudden. They haven't done anything since what, '01? Not to mention the looming sanctions....they are 1-5 in bowl games since leaving the Big East in 2005.

 

before someone cries "butthurt", I could care less that he didn't choose us. I am wondering why he passed up schools like UF, Auburn, FSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC?
