A friend of mine is a Silver Chief status Alumni at FSU and he said talk has been that FSU is being asked to move the Miami vs FSU game which will open their schedule in 2009 and they are saying they want to do a Home and Home with USF. 

Anybody confirm that our Athletic dept is talking to FSU?

I'd be surprised given that Bobby doesn't want to play us.  It seems he feels about us like Leavitt feels about UCF...

It's not Bobby, it was their former Athletic Director...  Bobby has said he felt the game would eventually be played.

FSU doesn't even play Miami the first game of the season anymore, so I think whatever information this Silver Chief got is false.

They didn't even want to play USF in a neutral site in Jacksonville next year, so I doubt they'd want a home and home with us.

It's not Bobby, it was their former Athletic Director...  Bobby has said he felt the game would eventually be played.

and eventually, if I continued to play the lotto weekly, I'd win the lotto....  :)  We all know what he meant by eventually.  Means not in his lifetime, and maybe not his successors either....

Next year would be our best chance to win with Grothe being a senior. I'd take my chances in Tally-ho with Mattie at the helm... We'd have our work cut out for us though.

His information was the ESPN wanted FSU to move the Miami FSU game to the first game of the seaons.  That causes problems for FSU vs Maine, and Maine is unable to move.  I am just throwing out what he said and he seems to be plugged into what is going on at FSU.  Could be wrong but thought it was interesting.
