i was hoping we would jump in front of ECU.  they are not better than us.  and i dont think we should of jumped ahead of Ohio St either.

thats a pretty fair ranking.

A few of the teams moving up are pretty surprising. For instance Wisconsin and Oregon both moved up a couple of spots??? Also surprised that Auburn didn't fall off at all. Pleasantly surprised that tOSU fell as much as they did; still a little high for my taste though, the next 1 loss team isn't until Kansas 5 spots lower.

Auburn, Wisconsin, and Oregon all should be beneath us. They all narrowly defeated much lesser opponents than KU and the latter two managed to move up as many spots as we did. WTF?

Can't say I disagree with it. Only team I would argue shouldn't be ranked ahead of us is Oregon.

Kansas definetly made out better in the lose rankings wise than we did with the win.

I want to know how we drop when we beat UCF in OT but Auburn stays where they are when they only score 3 pts on a Miss St. team that lost to LA Tech.

Also, Notre Dame, 5 votes? Seriously?

ASU lost to UNLV... shows that coaches really don't pay attention to what is really going on when they have them at #24. Pathetic!

I'd have us ahead of ECU and definitely Ohio State.  Ohio State is the biggest joke in college football.  I can't wait for Wisconsin and Penn State to destroy them.

Anyway, we aren't in a bad spot.  If we keep winning we'll be in the Top 5, if we don't, we won't deserve it anyway.

Thats fair for us.  UCONN could creep up pretty quick to, i didn't seee more than a highlight reel but they convinced me that they can easily become the 3rd best in the BE.

Guest BasketBull.

My interpretation: the coaches think that our victory was an upset of Kansas; the better team didn't win. Otherwise, we'd be much higher.

Now, we have to play each week very well to prove that we are playing good football, i.e., style points.

I don't think it was the coaches' poll that dropped us after beating UCF. The AP dropped us two spots.
