Greg and I are pleased to invite you to the first chat after camp opens on Monday.  Wednesday night Greg will be the guest speaker at Bullheaded's Chat Room.

The chat room is ready.  You can use the directions that follow to enter the chat room and enter questions in advance and/or wait until tomorrow night to do so.

Some recaps on how our chats work:

Greg will be the speaker, I will be the moderator.  Beginning now, you may start submitting your questions to Greg.  To do so, let's first look at the image below:

As you see, there is an "Ask" data field and a "Send" data field.  As a participant in the chat you will have access to both fields for entry.

1)  To ask Greg a question to be answered in the chat use the Ask data field and button.  Questions posed will not immediately appear in the chat window but will be added to a queue of questions for Greg to answer.  When he answers, both the question and the answer will be displayed in the chat room.

2)  The Send button is available to chat in the room "unofficially".  For example, Greg responds to a question regarding the TE end position.  After his Q and A is posted, the room may follow up with comments or questions by using the send button.  These comments or questions are not sent to Greg to answer.  However, if he sees them in the window he may comment before going on to the next question.  It is advised that all questions to Greg be sent using the Ask button.

Other helpful things to remember.

• Arrive on time for the chat
  
• If you do arrive late, it is likely your question has been asked.  Do not ask your question (or whether or not it has already been answered) by using the Send button in the general chat window.  Please submit your question using the Ask button.  If it has already been addressed, you will be notified by the moderator.
  
• It sometimes takes the speaker a while to organize the many questions to maintain a smooth flow in the chat.  Be patient.  Typically we get anywhere from 50 to 100 questions for a chat
  
• We will run an organized chat requiring use of the Ask button for at least the first hour.  After 9 p.m. Greg may choose to go to a 'free for all' mode and answere miscellaneous questions and comments in the open forum.  We wish to maintain order at least for the first hour.  This helps us keep a nice transcript for those unable to attend.
  
• Registration at the chat is not necessary but is advised to ensure some joker does not login with your username here on the board.
  
  
  

I guess that's about it.  Many of you have been in our chats in the past and have a feel for how it works.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on this thread.

Also, don't forget that you can enter the chat room early and ask Greg your questions now.  This will allow Greg to get a head start on the questions prior to the official chat start time.
