This is great in that this will be used as more bulletin board material for the USF players. Dont think the  USF players know what is going on in these message boards because the UCF comments show you that the players are reading these boards. If Rutgers wants to call USF dirty players and a bunch of thugs then they are going to have another thing coming this Thursday. I personally want to thank those Rutger idiot fans because they have just added more fuel to the fire. GO BULLS!!

Well...Rutgers spent considerable time in the spotlight last year.

Now they've got two losses. The spotlight is shining elsewhere

at this point in time.

Being in the top 10, we have to expect this.  When you read something like that, take a deep breath and move on.  We're a target for every team who wants to be where we are right now.  USC, LSU, Florida, Oklahoma fans deal with this kind of stuff every year. 

This is like CUSA all over again.  Whenever we won a game, the losers would say we play dirty.  Whenever we lost a game, it never came up.  Amazing.

Some Rutgers Fans, the So.Miss of the Big East ?

Whatever Rutgers fans may be saying this week, no Big East school deserves to be equated to that sack of trash.

This is just short-term sour grapes. They weren't saying such things about our program until this week. Considering USF's relative absence of athletic history, Big East schools and their fans have been highly respectful of USF. Even Louisville, which is surprising to any Bulls fan old enough to remember the Denny Crum era.

Message board fans say all kinds of things, but Southern Miss dug an all-time low for itself in 2000 by claiming the Bulls players were eye-gouging the USM QB, forcing him to wear a face shield -- not realizing that the game was televised, and that no such shield was observed. And apparently it didn't bother their coaches enough to file a complaint about it (or maybe they did and it was never acted on -- I forget).

Not to mention the whole "quality not quantity" thing, which by the way looks real smart now. Congratulations to the Golden Eagles on their near-victory against Rice, and to Conference USA for its continued hold on tenth place in the conference power ratings.
