Why do we show up as SOUFLA? South Florida has less letters than some of the other schools spelled out in that list of other teams receiving votes.

Interesting that Ray Rotto has us at 25 (I would not have given USF my vote). Since I lived in Northern California in the 70's and early 80's and still keep up with what is going on there, I often read the San Francisco Chronicle and his columns. He can be really tough on the home teams (or any other team he may choose to write about) so we should feel fortunate to have a team good enough for him to even consider voting for.

I think this coupled with 4-0 start for both teams sets up a nice little Top 20 USF v Top 10 FSU game on Sept 29th.

I would be a bit surprised if we win out first 4 games this season. The Nevada/Rutgers games are very scary.

Point of order: It's 11 points not votes. We got 5 votes; two at #25, two at #24, and one at #21

Apis bull: A manifestation of the Egyptian god Ptah, the primal creator, the first of all the gods, creator of the world and all that is in it. He is not created, but simply is.
