And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

As opposed to the instant negative nelly repsonse. Could it just be that the new LT is better than Popek? But Popek is better than the LG?
More likely that the new LT is better than Edwards, but the new LT can't play guard and Popek can.
Especially in college the top five OL are going to play, even if they have to move them around. A little less flexibility in the NFL.
Regardless,we have a pretty big OLine, don't we?

Not buying the cross training bit. Daneous is only used at guard. Same goes for quinterrius only at tackle. So now we have a center whos never played a snap at center,a guard who is a left tackle, and a left tackle whos only played 5a downs when popek hurt his ankle. Willing to bet popeks enthusiasm is in the gutter right next to edwards. Moving a guy with 30+ starts from one of the most important spots on the field out of his comfort zone? Qbs rarely get hurt by nose tackles rushing up the middle. They do get blasted by6'6" defensive end that run 4.9 forty times coming hard off the corner. Popek held his own against patriots first round pick chandler jones last year.why not just insert mr williams at left guard. Is it me or does that makeTOO MUCH SENSE. ATTENTION SKIP!!!
Didn't we have a center last year that had never played center before in his life?
Seriously, I don't think it is a very big deal to move a guy from one spot on the OLine to another. Now, if Skip moves Popek to CB I'll have some questions.

It's also quite possible that we are going to try to run the ball more effectively. There are many running plays that require pulling guards, which of course means that the guards have to be somewhat "athletic".

Not to hijack this thread, but I wonder how the coaches plan on using 6'9" Jake Kaufman this year.
Guest asked: "How's Jake Kaufman doing, ahead of the freshmen at tackle?"
Greg Auman: I'm impressed just to see Jake Kaufman out at practice -- when you hear about back problems for two years with a guy that big, the natural inclination is to think he might never get back on the field. Kaufman was as high as 362 pounds at one point, but he's dropped considerable weight -- think he's 307 on latest roster -- and that's a Q. Eatmon level drop, very impressive. He isn't someone on the two-deep though, with all those second-year players ahead of him on the second team. He's probably best suited for some kind of special-teams role.
You've got to Bullieve!!!!!!!!

Not interesting, seems dumb
Sounds similar to the moving of T-Rex from CB to WR.
