OT Tyler Moore is supposedly transferring from Nebraska. We offered him previously. This also might involve a girlfriend back home.

Re: Tyler Moore Leaves Practice
Here's the FB message posted on TOS - apparently written by Moore's 19 year old GF.
Before the word gets down to Florida via internet and everyone attacks Tyler with questions, yes it is true for those of you who have heard..after battling, toughing things out, and making a VERY difficult decision..Tyler is coming home! As he has fulfilled his childhood dreams of playing for Nebraska, making a difference, and going down in history for being the first true freshman to start, its time for him to move on and expand his talent. He ISNT done with football and has a team or two in mind! Nebraska is a great school and has a great team and is for some guys but not for Tyler. His dream is to play for the Steelers or an NFL team someday and Lord willing he is going to make his dream come true. You can like it or not but i am VERY proud of my baby for making such a hard decision and his family and i support him a billon percent.. It would be nice if everyone else did too. Cant wait to see what his future has in store and prove the negative people wrong. Thank you to all the Husker fans who have supported him and dont want him to go, it means alot.. He will always be a Husker, its just time to open the doors back up to some new options and find his happiness and love for football again!!

Husker coach Bo Pelini confirmed the rumblings that sophomore left tackle Tyler Moore has not been at practice the past couple days.
"Tyler Moore has left the team temporarily," Pelini said following Saturday's scrimmage inside Memorial Stadium. "We'll see where that goes. I'm not exactly sure if that's going to be permanent or not permanent. He's working through some things personally."
Moore was not at meetings Friday morning. Pelini said he had conversations with Moore and his father after that missed meeting.
The coach said he didn't want to get into specifics but is leaving the door open for Moore to return. Read more about Moore: journalstar.com

Husker coach Bo Pelini confirmed the rumblings that sophomore offensive lineman Tyler Moore has not been at practice the past couple days.
Whether the left tackle is coming back to the program remains unknown.
The coach said he didn't want to get into specifics but is leaving the door open for Moore to return to the team.
Pelini said he talked again with the offensive lineman's father, former Husker tight end Brian Moore, Saturday morning.
"He said there's a bunch of things being said out on the Internet, and whatever, the blogs and whatever you call the boards and things, that aren't true," Pelini said.
Pelini said Moore was "doing a good job" in fall camp before his departure.
"Obviously, like anybody else, he had some things to work on."
The 6-foot-6, 305-pound Moore was seen as one of the prized recruits of Nebraska's 2011 recruiting class. Though he came from Clearwater, Fla., he has Husker bloodlines, with his father and cousin both playing for Nebraska.
Moore made history last year when he became the first true freshman offensive lineman ever to start a season opener. He started the first four games at right tackle before veteran Marcel Jones took over the position during league play.
While Moore is just entering his sophomore campaign, he has already been through two springs in the Husker program and, according to coaches and players, is no longer viewed as a young player.
"He's much more of a veteran than you'd think a true sophomore would be," offensive line coach Barney Cotton said in the spring.
"We don't consider him a young guy. He's a young guy age-wise but not experience-wise. He has a lot more experience than many guys that you're trying to plug in as a starter."
Many considered Moore a frontrunner heading into fall camp for the starting left tackle spot, though it appears Brent Qvale has been making a strong push this August.
Pelini said Saturday Qvale's had "a heckuva camp."
As it currently stands without Moore, the lead figures at the tackle spots are juniors Andrew Rodriguez, Jeremiah Sirles and Qvale. Pelini also mentioned Givens Price as someone who is improving at the position.
"I think he's a ways off, but he's shown me a lot over the last couple days," Pelini said of Price. "And I think Zach Sterup is going to be a good player in time. ... You just look at him physically from when he came in and joined us to where he is now, it's night and day. So we have some good options at the tackle position."

Tyler Moore leaving team?
August 11, 2012 11:28 am
i've been reading for the last 24 hours that Tyler Moore will be leaving the team and transfering back to Florida. (Probably USF). From what I have heard it's been a combination of missing his girlfriend and getting frustrated with getting passed up by Qvale on the depth chart. His "heart" hasn't been in it this fall and he doesn't want to be here any more.

Tyler Moore leaves Cornhuskers
Updated: August 11, 2012, 4:09 PM ETAssociated Press
LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska coach Bo Pelini has announced that offensive lineman Tyler Moore has left the football team to address personal issues.
So I guess his leaving is official, let the games begin. Man, if we were to get him and Prestwood, we would be huge up front.
Big Ten Blog
Pelini said Saturday that Moore, who hasn't practiced since Thursday, would be welcome to return.
Moore last year became the first Nebraska freshman to start on the offensive line in a season opener. He started the first four games at right tackle and appeared in nine games.
The sophomore from Clearwater, Fla., was the projected starter at left tackle this season.
Pelini declined to elaborate on the circumstances surrounding Moore's departure.
Messages were left for Brian Moore, Tyler's father.

I know that when we got a verbal from QB Matt Floyd he made friends on facebook with all of our recruits and was a big help in landing some of them.

Another one weighs in
Scott @Bushido247
Looks like former No.1 overall OL in Florida, Tyler Moore, who was the first freshman to EVER start for Nebraska OL, is heading to USF.
This is blowing up on twitter
if i was nicknaming him it would have to be Mary as in MTM, if i met him in person, it would be Mr. Moore.

USF is some lucky SOB. They get Aaron Lynch and Tyler Moore via transfer in one off-season. That's basically the same as getting two 5-stars
