I don't think we know enough inside information to fairly blame the Big East school presidents, although being more proactive probably would not have hurt.

The mixed priorities-between football and basketball-seem to have limited the football potential. I will not be happy if we turn down East Carolina and Southern Miss for somebody like UNLV or New Mexico State.

Turning down Penn State turned out to be a huge mistake for so many years. Who knows what our conference would like if they were still here.

Turning down Penn State turned out to be a huge mistake for so many years. Who knows what our conference would like if they were still here.


The Big East would be doing fine, but we might still be in C-USA.
