This is mostly for Bull By Marriage, but I figured that there might be others that enjoy the sport enough to be interested in season tickets. At my basketball ticket appointment, I was told that soccer tickets should go on sale "any day now".

I wish I could get a straight answer out of these guys...

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I "spoke" with one of the players yesterday he advised that the schedule is official, but doesn't know when it will be released. It's not like the program went to the elite 8 or anything.

Tickets are for sale NOW (as per my ticket rep)

$50 each, or
$100 for 4 (similar to last year.)

They will give you vouchers instead of tickets.
So if you miss a game, you can redeem the voucher(s) at a future game.

Also:

It will be general seating (not assigned.)
For playoffs he mentioned something about getting priority/assigned seating.
So you wont get "stuck" with berm seats (although they can be quite nice.)

One quick thing to note about the timing of soccer season tickets, remember, volleyball, baseball, softball and the two soccers season tickets are mostly general admission (yes, some of those sports have a very small section of reserved premium seats) .... with general admission tickets the time tickets go on sale is less important. 1 general admission ticket bought 3 months before the season will lead to the same seats as 1 season ticket bought 2 days before the season starts. I only mention this because, in the end our soccer team will have great support no matter when the tickets go on sale.

Be sure to ask if unused tickets can be exchanged (they could in the past) .. makes season tickets even a more valuable option.

If you haven't been to a soccer game or volleyball match, be sure to make it out this year. Awesome value for your entertainment dollar, and more chances to support your school.

Is this general seating for the $50 price point? I think that there were general seating and premium seating options last year.

There weren't very many of us. I'd say less than 100. This is almost comical. Nothing on gousfbulls.com, nothing on ticketmaster, no word from the university. It's almost as if they don't care if anyone goes to soccer games. The school should be thrilled by selling any season tickets to non revenue sports.

They don't market this sport or others real well. As a Varsity alumni they should be asking me for seats. When I had season tickets they forgot to send me a renewal.

How about use the idea I told them about. Give the undergraduate and graduate students marketing projects on how to market USF sports, specifically non-revenue generating such as soccer, baseball, softball.etc. I guess that was to big of a task for them to do.

If the GA only is the case my wife and I may not renew. It may sound extremely pretentious, but we've become accustomed to our seat location. Hopefully they'll make football GA as well. (He said sarcastically)

We paid $100 a piece last year, and are ready to again provided we have assigned seats. $20 a game for front row seats.

Should have a small section of premium seating, especially if people are willing to pay the extra $.

My wife tried soccer (men's & women's; 10/12 games) a few years ago, and found it dull for the most part. The biggest audience seemed to be families with young kids who played youth soccer. We might give it a try for a game or two in the new stadium, but can't see us ever buying season tickets
