He looked pretty bad in the recent public appearances and I knew it only had to be a matter of time. First Lee Roy and now Freddie ....Two truly remarkable Tampa treasures lost in less than year that will be missed.

Just saw that. He was a star at UT (Tampa, for those thinking Orange) and exciting to watch.

I lived near SF during the glory years of te 49ers....after suffering fir decades. Freddy was a huge oart of the first two SB wins,and was beloved by the whole Bay Area...the other one!

i remember him in college

what a great player

i am surprised usf hasnt been able to recruit similar dominant offensive players

ut had a nice program


if they could have held on they might have been a power and usf football probably wouldnt have existed
