Greetings!
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of the die-hard Bulls fans in southfloridabulls.com-land, and to wish you the happiest of holiday seasons.
None of the accomplishments of the past year, whether in football, volleyball, soccer, or any USF-sponsored athletic program, happen without the support of you and others like you. From buying season tickets and merchandise, to including USF in your charitable gift plans, to showing up at games and participating in flyaways and watch parties, to the range of other ways you all support the Bulls, you, collectively, are a major part of the energy that propels this program forward.
Another thread on this board discusses whether $50 and $100 gifts really mean anything to the program. I am here to tell you that they absolutely DO. They provide scholarships for student-athletes, and help us hire and retain coaching staffs. They help underwrite recruiting expenses and travel to post-season play. Yes, we are also grateful to those people who are capable of, and make, major gifts. But they can't stand alone. Every dollar given, and every season ticket purchased, is a critical investment in the Bulls.
As you help grow our numbers of givers and season ticket holders, you demonstrate that USF has purchasing power worth notice. That matters on the merchandising front, it matters to bowl committees, and it definitely matters to the NCAA, which now looks past ticket purchase numbers in order to focus on how many bodies are in the seats.
So for all these reasons, and so many more, my colleagues and I from the Athletic Association just want to take this opportunity to thank you for being active members of the Bulls family, and to wish you a wonderful holiday season and a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.
GO BULLS!!!

Twas the Night Before Bowl Season
A poem for Conference USA
by BullBuster
---------------------
Twas the night before Bowl Season
And in Conference USA
The Bulls Football team was not stirring
They weren't invited to play.
Bowl invitations were hung
On lesser teams, with no care
That USF destroyed everyone...
Anytime, anywhere.
The cries rung nationwide,
From Norman to Denton
"The Bulls deserve a bowl!"
We got nary a mention.
Yes, up from the New Orleans Bowl
There arose such a scuffle.
C-USA's hopes were on Cincy.
But those hopes soon were muffled...
By a North Texas team
That had shown lots of spunk
USF played them this season
And guess what? They got punked.
Hawaii? Detroit?
Alas, it's no matter
The Bulls surely got shafted
Despite all the chatter
Disrespect? Indifference?
True, neither is nice.
Now you've pissed USF off
And C-USA will pay the price.
Our successes will mount,
Our fan base will balloon
As with each passing game
More C-USA bodies are strewn.
Yes, twas the week before Bowl Games
And the pundits have scoffed
But we'll be back with a vengeance
So you all can F*#K off.

Merry F*@king Christmas, Conference USA!

Well I don't know about you all but I am having a great Christmas. My son was able to get me his game jersey, so I will be sleeping in that. The only things that I didn't get were a White Christmas and a trip to a Bowl Game. Hopefully next year one of those will be delivered. Happy Christmas everyone. Bulldad p.s. still looking for Hightechbull's head on a platter for his comment about my daughter in the NY Times Mag.

Who's the daughter so I can keep fair distance? Personally, I like my head... secondly... wasn't it just a belly button and arms shot... there wasn't really a head shot... or am I missing something?
