2 scholarships remain.
What positions do we need?
Maybe another PF? Or how about a center?
Whew... I can finally relax now! Â ::bottle:

We'd all like to see Mosley out 100% healthy on the floor
otherwise i would like to see another tall player...
a 6'6 or 6'7 small forward (since our wing players are older or another bigman
Current Roster
PG Dennis (Soph) / Howard (Fresh) / Capko(not on scholarship)
SG Sills(Junior) / Holmes(Senior) / Prek (Junior) (Mosley? (senior))
SF Buckley(Junior) / Mattis(Soph)
PF Cann(Fresh) / Stores(Fresh)
C Jones(Senior) / Diarra(Junior)

I wouldn' t mind a couple of highly rated transfers.
Q: Is Dennis a PG or a SG? I think Sills should handle the point.

Dennis is a PG/SG combo type guard. I think early on he's going to be our point guard until Howard gets into the mix more.
I see Sills playing shooting guard pretty much full time. He's going to be on the receiving end of assists more than dishing them.

I certainly don't think we'll be successful in the BE with him at the point.

bull baller - while I partially agree he was good enough to play on a dominat high school team :-)

what happened to cakpo?
why did he not develop?
he had his chance at usf to show what he had.

I'm thrilled that we finally got our PF. And to be honest, I'm glad we didn't get the others (Clark, Burke, etc.) because Bradon is a freshman and he seems to have the size/skills we need -especially at rebounding!

::triggerhappy:: I have been pretty relaxed until just now. Â ::sick::
Where are we going to get a center that can play in the BE with 2 1/2 weeks before the deadline?

Coach mac needs to visit with Hashim Bailey's dad. He convinced Brandon Storms mom on the spot. Hashim wants to start College right away, rather than spend a year at prep school, so he will be in Mac's corner.

Yes, fine.... But you can't just go out and buy some GPA points from the grocery store!
we all know that isn't exactly true... maybe we don't do that here, but some schools do

bring in Brumbaugh... then our big man situation is actually improved considerably from Diarra.

One other point, even though Brumbaugh is 6-8 he is not a big man, ie. a PF or C. He is more in the SF mode. So the talk about if we land Brumbaugh then we are set with big men isn't really accurate.

I can't believe we didn't offer him when he had us listed among his favorites.
