When Matt went down and we were due to play @ FSU, the season outlook was pretty much bleak.

Everything has been a blessing --we could be zero and 5 since Matt's injury.

There's a lot of the season left and we're back in the top 25. Can't beat that with a stick.

Let's beat Rutgers like the red mules that they are!

GO BULLS!

Just because we have won games since Grothe went down doesn't mean the season is a success. There are plenty of other good players on the team.

Be happy? When the sky is falling or may be falling or might fall in the future? You're kidding, right?

Yeah, but it's also pretty hard to replace a proven quarterback with a freshman. Take a look over at Oklahoma. They have plenty of "other good players on the team", but  they're 5-4, with no wins against any notable team, with a team that just went to the National title game last season.

Not comparing Bradford and Grothe, but in terms of how each relates inside both programs the cases are similar.

Overall, while I'm not saying this season is incredible, we're 6-2, beat FSU and WVU so far, and all with a freshman qb who went into the year expecting to ride the pine for most of the season.

I gotta say, I'm happy as hell...  B.J. is quite surprising.  Let's hope he keeps up the wins.
