Bowl Projections

CFN still has us back in St. Pete against UCF.  As usual, they are very unreliable as they have TCU in a BCS bowl and have them playing Boise in the Humanitarium.  I guess they could make both games!

They don't seem to update their bowl projections other than the BCS ones...

It's no wonder, they must be still using Clucko the chicken to make their bowl projections. 

Brian Bennet, ESPN's Big East blogger, has us going to Birmingham. If that's the case, this will be the first bowl I miss since the fire Muffler bowl... (Birmingham = the place where dreams die)

Meineke Car Care Bowl: Pitt vs. ACC

Papajohns.com Bowl: South Florida vs. SEC

International Bowl: Rutgers vs. MAC

St. Petersburg Bowl: West Virginia vs. C-USA

I don't know why everyone bags on Birmingham so badly.  I had a great time there.  They had some really good food around town as well.  Their bowl central events were not up to par, but I manages to have great fun around town with all sorts of fans.

They have apparently put a lot into increasing activities around town for the bowl and the opponents has drastically increased.

This game is a lot more appetizing than before.

... and for the younger crowd the UAB chicks weren't bad and were quite friendly.
