Let us know what you think of your team and who to watch out for... Last game of yours I watched, there was a mess of a QB rotation..
Just a question what was the last game you watched of RU? Really there 3 players to watch out for.(at least on offense) Tom Savage True Frosh, Mohamed Sanu True Frosh Tim Brown Senior. Tom Savage has about 1400 yards on the year and 8 TDs but the most impressive thing of all is probably that he has thrown only 1 INT in about 200 attempts. For a True freshman I find that amazing. Tim Brown right out of miami he's about 5'7 but don't let his size fool you he is an absolute burner. He is like 8th in the nation in recieving yards but 73rd in receptions he has like 21 yards per catch(top 5 in the country) This past Saturday Tom Savage had 3 passing TDs against Uconn two of which were to Brown from 40+ yards out. The last one of course was the 81 yard TD game winning pass with 22 seconds left in the 4th quarter.

Last but not least Mohamed Sanu who may very well be the most talented player on our team. This guy enrolled in January an was recruited as a safety. He started the spring as a saftey and was playing great but we had a dire need at WR and no one besides Brown had stepped up. Halfway through the spring Sanu was switched to WR and has made a smooth transition. In our 47-15 embarrassment to cincy Sanu was the go to guy he piled up 10 catches for 110 yards that game. He is also fast as heck( on the video above he actually catches up to Tim Brown) but he is one of the most physical players you will see. Check out some of his blocks

As for as our running game is considered it is no where near what it has been in recent years.OLine is playing sub par run blocking and backs just can't seem to find the holes. The weird thing is this entire OL with all of our RBs are back from last year and they did great last year. Of course the threat of Teel to Britt/Underwood had a lot to do with that.
Welcome Rutgers fan. We're from NJ originally and will be tailgating with parents of a RU grad. For whatever reason you guys seem to give us fits. We're hoping our D-line pressures your QB into a few more INTs. I've watched all of your games that I could get down here in Tampa. RU has looked strong at times but lost at others. Sounds a bit like us.

I watched all 3 of Sanu's blocks... 2 were unnecessary and as the play was ending and 1 was helmet to helmet. well done.

wtf I know this guy is probably not a bull fan but that doesn't mean he isn't on crack. Ray Rice ran a 4.44 time at the 40 which was faster than steve slaton.(I was shocked to be honest) And even as short as he is he is having a probowl season with the ravens right now leading the NFL in yards from scrimmage.
And more importantly he's carrying my fantasy team along with Jones-Drew right now.

For those coming to the game, you'll find RU fans more than happy to talk and have a beer and a burger with. Just walk around and you're guaranteed to have some tailgaters call you over. Good luck and we'll see you on the 12th!
Ha! Ha! that's the funniest thing I read on this board EVER.
When I visited RU the last time and was walking alone from my car to the stadium, the only thing anybody ever said to me was F..k Y..!
Too bad you had a bad experience. The fans I met were nice, some even tried to console me after the loss. That didn't work. I planned on going to this game again, but got a wedding to go to.
I still hate RU and Jersey, and their coach...
Yea, I went to the RU game 2 years ago with like 6 RU alums and after we lost, we pretty much walked back to our car in a parking garage in downtown New Brunswick (which is a long walk) because there were long lines for the buses back. everyone i came across were hootin' and hollerin' but no one was in my face at all. the most i heard was "bad day to be wearing green". we even went on Easton Avenue where the bars were and went to the Grease Trucks and no one gave me crap... and i was expecting crap too.
people just hate RU here because they are our daddy and they've owned us for the past 3 years or so.
you'll hear excuses like:
2006: we lost because Amp Hill dropped a pass
2007: 'the Robbery at Rutgers' with the 'forward propulsion baloney'
2008: well, there were no excuses for that.. hehe, they whipped us
those are just some of the excuses. many on here don't want to admit that another program/team is better than us because they are afraid to put aside their egos.
I hate Rutgers because:
1) When they visited in '06, we had a group of Rutgers fans kicking over signs and trying to make a general mess of things around our tailgate. Ask anybody who has been at a tailgate of ours, and one constant is that we are ALWAYS friendly with the opposing team's fans, and we will ALWAYS invite them in to try the buffet we've put together. This particular group of RU fans was a group of all around pricks, and most RU fans I've come across since have been much the same.
2) Schiano is a whiny POS as far as I'm concerned.
3) The last 3 years on the field.
The fact that they've owned us the way they have the last three years doesn't have as much to do with it as my experience with their fans. Hell Cincinnati as owned us just as much as Rutgers since we've joined the Big East, but I can tell you flat out, I don't even hate them, let alone hate them on a level with Rutgers.

yea, that seems to be the recipe for beating us on defense: play disciplined on offense (don't cause too many penalties), power running up the gut.. play-action pass to beat our undisciplined linebackers. it's been like that for a while over at USF and it's been no secret.
i think we have much success against the non-Big East teams but for the Big East teams that see us every year, they know exactly how to beat us and we don't adjust year-after-year (see Cincy, see RU).
they threw a steady, constant dose of joe martinek (2-star recruit) at us and he killed us up the middle last year. yet, we have a RB that set state of florida rushing records his senior year of high school struggling to get playing time along with like 5 other RB's and people wonder why we lack consistency.

With that warped philososphy you'd think every school's ooc record would be littered with wins over good teams .... Your beloved Rutgers best ooc win is against Kansas State ... Fail.

LOL ..... Right, see Cincy and RU but ignore WVU, UConn, L'ville and Syracuse.

+1,000
I tailgate with this ******* and I can definitely vouch about the RU fans. And I definitely agree about Cincy - I don't care that they've had our number the past 4 seasons.
Honestly, your coach is probably the biggest reason why I hate Rutgers. Every time I see him in a ref's ear or smile with his gap teeth, it makes me want to punch babies.
